DIMINISHING TREES

The Star 15 Jun 2021
As developments progresses, the natural forest and trees diminish. That is what happening in Malaysia, especially the development center in Selangor.  There is a spot of Forest Reserve in the center of Shah Alam, the Bukit Cherakah, a green lung in the middle of the brick's jungle.

The Community Forest Society wants the plot to be gazetted as Forest Reserve, to retain its ecological, recreational and educational center. Many fear the greed for cash and revenue may push the green lung to be traded for development.

Many objected to the idea of building a interconnecting road across the park,

It remains hopeful that Malaysian Trees and Forest are preserved for the future generations.

PAPAYA MADU 2019 MAC

I am consolidating my blogs and going to delete a Malay Blog Dusun Kota. All its contents will be moved to this English blog and the language to be changed to English.

This is the tanslated version...
I just came back from shop in the Malaysian town of Salak South, Taman Seroja, to be exact, operated by some people from Acheh. It is a different country now, but it was so a few hundred years ago, when these used to be a country before the British and Dutch came. I bought a papaya, a rather large in size... 2 kgs. So I thought it is a good move to plant its eeds.

I like it, big in size and the empty centre is small.

This is the data..

Look the central cavity, about 1 inch across.

MY RED PAPAYA

As part of my consolidation exercise, I am going to reduce the number of blogs.

This posting "RED PAPAYA" is transferred and translatedfrom my Malay  Blog  Dusunkota. It will be deleting the blog.

On 2019 Mac, I bought some papaya seeds from Lazada. I was surprise to receive about 100 seeds for the price that I had paid. I planted  for 3 trees, normally I double the seeds and  discard the extra.

When it fruited, it was a regret because the fruits were small.

From my other blog..

EFFORTS TO MAKE TREES TO BEAR FRUITS

One of the frusting thing when I plant a fruit tree is, some of them do not bear fruits.

Here are some examples:

A. Lemon Tree

My friend is having this tree, Describe the size, it did not bear fruit.

I ask her to try a few efforts,

1. Trim the leaves and brunch, not to be too many leaves.

2. A friend suggested to give fruiting fertilizers...

C. Longan

The longan is giving a lot of fruits, However, we face problem to protect against frying bats.

Malaysian Fruit Kecupu

Last Monday 11 Feb 2019, I was introduced to this fruit.

It taste really nice, rather sweet and a little bit sour.

I did not know the name, I thought it was pisang kaki or persimmon. It did look like tomato.

I like it so much that I wanted to plant it.

So I took its seeds.
