Malaysian Fruit Kecupu

Last Monday 11 Feb 2019, I was introduced to this fruit.

It taste really nice, rather sweet and a little bit sour.

I did not know the name, I thought it was pisang kaki or persimmon. It did look like tomato.

I like it so much that I wanted to plant it.

So I took its seeds.

My New Fertilizer AB

I am trying a new fertilizer, the type used for fertilization. However, I will not be using the automatic application of the fertilizer, but rather manually watering the plant.

Each package must be mixed with 10 litre of water, preferably non chrolorine water.

The 10 litre can be mixed for watering with 1000 litre of water. Ration of 1 to 100

The AB fertigation mix are imported from Europe amd suitable for plants such as chilli, brinjal, flowers.

The vege has to be watered every day.

Keterangan/kandungan packing: 1 set x baja 10 liter (A) + 10 liter (B) Berat anggaran 1.8 - 1.9 kg (A+B) Set baja AB ini perlu dicairkan kepada 10 liter air bersih. Caranya: 1. Sediakan dua bekas 10 liter, tanda A dan B, masukkan air 10 liter setiap bekas 2. Masukan baja A ke bekas ditanda "A" dan baja B ke bekas ditanda "B" 3. Bancuh hingga melarut. Siap dijadikan stok. 4. Biarkan 24 jam untuk tujuan tindak balas kimia melarut sebelum digunakan. Cara aplikasi: 1. Ambil 10 ml stok baja tadi nisbah 1:1 (A : 10 ml dan B : 10 ml) masukan dalam botol 1liter dan goncang. 2. Siram dua kali sehari seeloknya waktu pagi pukul 8 dan pukul 10 3. Kadar keperluan lebih kurang 200 ml - 500 ml sehari dan bergantung kepada usia pokok 4. Jika musim hujan, terutama tanaman di lapangan seeloknya nisbah campuran dibancuh sekali ganda pekat dan siram separuh daripada keperluan harian. Ini kerana media tanaman telah basah terkena hujan. NOTE: The E.C optimum reading is 1280ppm @ 2.4 E.C maximum. Tips: 1. Semasa pokok di awal pertumbuhan kadar nisbah bancuhan disyorkan adalah 60% pati A dan 40% pati B. Ini kerana awal pertumbuhan pokok memerlukan unsur Nitrogen yang tinggi  2 Ketika tanaman berbunga dan putik formula A 40% dan B 60% 

My Papaya

I started to plan papaya in pots, a few months ago.

Of course I viewed the youtube videos, some of which seem to be out of the world, so unreal. Papaya in pot with plenty of fruits. I do not know if it is real or camera trick.

a. The Pot
I use a pot with 24 inch diameter.

The plastic pot imported from Thailand at RM45 only. The earthware is about double the price.
